Craig Miller is the director of IQ Tennis and has proven to be among the leading tennis coaches in the world over the past 15 years. He has years of experience in all fields of the tennis industry and is a respected authority in the teaching of tennis technique from all levels including beginner to elite.

Craig is also the Head Coach for Wesley College Tennis which has 55 Tennis Teams and over 3000 students total.

His experiences have lead to the development of his IQ Tennis™ coaching system which rapidly accelerates the learning process.

Professional Achievements Include:

  • Australian Junior Champion.
  • Number Four World Junior.
  • 10 years as a Full-Time International Touring Professional Player.
  • Top 100 in Singles and 35 in Doubles on ATP Men’s Professional Tour.
  • Played Main Draw of all four Grand Slam Titles - Wimbledon, French, Australian and U.S. Opens.
  • Tennis Australia National Coach (7 yrs)
  • Chairman of National Selectors (15 yrs)

Tricia Miller – Business Manager

Tricia KeltieTricia’s formal qualifications in Marketing, Business law, Communications and Workplace Training are an asset in her role which includes general operations. Her previous work experience includes Event Management and Business Development. Tricia works closely with clients and venue operators and is the liaison for all services and enquiries for IQ Tennis™. Tricia is a dedicated professional who applies “best practice” in customer service operations.

Qualifications Certified Practicing Marketer(candidate), Post Grad Cert Marketing, Cert IV in Workplace Training and Assessment, Registered Nurse, Advanced Diploma of Business-Legal Practice, Contract Law and Business law, Cert 3 Communication Skills and Techniques, Cert lV Counseling

Russell Barlow - Specialist Coach

With nearly 20 years of playing and coaching in Europe, Russell is highly skilled and experienced in clay-court tennis.  He has coached and played at the highest level of international tennis, and provides the experience in building and implementing a game built for the professional ranks.

His achievements include:

  • 11 years ATP Tour Player (1979-1990)
  • Top 200 singles and top 100 doubles ATP.
  • Played predominantly on the European tour and all Grand Slams.
  • 5 years coaching professional players on the International Tour.
  • Currently mentoring 3 International Male Professional Players.






Ron Woodbridge - Coach

Ron Woodbridge is an extremely well known and respected identity in the tennis industry.  He has a wealth of experience in all facets of the game and is an absolute asset to IQ Tennis.  He has a likeable and enthusiastic personality and approachable nature.

His achievements include:

  • Former Australian Junior Champion
  • Qualified Advanced Coach (Level 2)
  • Played Club Tennis for Bern in Switzerland
  • Full Time Touring Professional Player for 5 years
  • Over 15 years coaching experience
  • Has won Victorian Pennant in State Grade and Grades 1, 2 and 4.




Wayne Curtis - Coach

Wayne brings a wealth of knowledge to IQ Tennis via his years of involvement at club level and playing competitive tennis.  He derives immense satisfaction from seeing his pupils progress from beginner to competition level players.  Wayne has a relaxed, friendly style and is well liked by young and old alike.

His achievements include:

  • Over 40 years of social and competition tennis
  • A winning record at country events and local senior level
  • 11 years as Open Mixed Champion at Centenary Park Tennis Club.
  • Pennant Player of the Year 2009 for his grade.
  • WInner of VTA Pennant 2013.





Phil Mattei - Coach

Phil is extremely well known and respected in the Melbourne Tennis Industry.  He is an experienced and successful coach of players at all levels. 

He is a former professional player and has an unrivalled passion for the game.  Phil specialises in junior squad training and developing juniors for competition, both local and National.

His experience includes:

  • Head Coach of St Mark's Tennis Club (10 Years)
  • Head Coach ALma Sports Club (10 Years).
  • Coach at Booroondara Tennis Club.
  • Coach at Australian Sports Camps under Peter McNamara.
  • Coached at Hopman's Academies in New York and Florida.
  • Coahched at Viserba and Rimini Tennis Clubs in Italy




Ashton Miller - Coach

Ashton is Craig's son and has grown up playing and studying tennis. 

Having played since the age of 4, he has played high level junior and senior tennis.  He has an engaging personality and is respected by students of all ages and abilities.
