Joshua Crowe

Joshua lives in Adelaide and whenever possible flies over to Melbourne to undertake technical on-court sessions with Craig Miller.  He is a full-time touring professional player and competes all over the world following his dream of achieving sucesses at the highest possible level.

Gamestyle:   All-Court Player

Favourite Shot:   Attacking Forehand

Favourite PLayer:   Roger Federer because he has the most complete game.

Achievements include:

  • Winner of AMT 2005
  • FInalist in the U/18 Australian Nationals 2006
  • Quarter Finals of Swiss Futures 2007
  • Quarter Finals of Tunisia Futures 2007
  • Winner of Victorian Hardcourt Championships 2008

Hobbies/Interests:   AFL, Music and Playing Pool

Favourite Player:     David Ferrer.  He is a similar height and stature and competes like a trojan

Achievments Include:

  • Member of the 2008 Royal South Yarra State Grade Pennant Team.
  • Winner or the Royal South Yarra Club Championships 2008.
  • Reached the last  round of qualifying in the 2008 Mildura and Traralgon Futures Event.
  • Runner up in the U/14 National Clay Court Championships.
  • Member of the Australian U/14 National Team
  • Trains in the National High Performance Academy at Melbourne Park.

Hobbies/Interests:    Snowboarding, Cycling, Chess and Movies

Favourite Shot:   Serve-Volley but it's not my forte.


Favourite PLayer:   Kim Clijsters because she was quietly competitive, not a drama queen and was into tennis, not th glamour of it.

Achievements include:

  • Grade 4 Pennant Player of the Year 2006.
  • Royal South Yarra Women's Player of the Year 2006.
  • Received a Scholarship to Royal South Yarra LTC.
  • Runner-up in Frankston U/18 Singles 2008.
  • Winner AS Lodge Open Doubles 2008.

Hobbies/Interests:   Cross-country running, hockey, trumpet, movies and music 

How do you rate IQ Tennis?    Definitely the best coaching I've ever expeienced.  I'm very lucky!

 


Sam Hall

Favourite Player:    David Nalbandian because he playes smart tennis and has every shot.

Hobbies/Interests:   Jigsaws, soccer and reading

How do you rate IQ Tennis?    A lot of interesting and useful gadgets are used, a huge number of intense drills and great technical coaching.

 


 

Mary-Anne Jessup

Favourite Player:    Maria Sharapova because she is aggressive and a smart player.

Achievments Include:

  • Making it to the Nationals Finals in Miami when she was 8.
  • Training at an International International Academy twice.
  • Attends the first Sports School in Victoria.
  • Reached the last 16 in the U/14's Nationals whilst injured.
  • Singing at the Commonwealth Games

How do you rate IQ Tennis?   IQ Tennis is the best because it has the best coaches, especially Craig Miller.  Daniel Wendler really motivates us at the Friday Night Sqads and has a great sense of humour.  It is really fun and the people are great!

  • Multiple trophy winner at the Boort Easter Tournament 2007 and 2008.


How do you rate IQ Tennis?    I have never learnt more in my life! 


 

Joel McKee  

DOB 3/12/94

Joel is a well rounded athlete and is a member of the Centenary Park Division 1 Saturday morning Junior Team that were finalists in last season's competition. He attends private lessons and squad training at Centenary Park Tennis Club.

His achievements include:

  • Began playing with his dad Kevin at age 4.
  • Played in his first competition side at 8.
  • Is a very accomplished footballer, this year gaining representation in the MSJFL side which competed in Adelaide.
  • As a regular competitor in AJR Junior Events, Joel has an Australian Junior Ranking.

Ken and Harley Dibble

Father and son dynamic duo, Ken and Harley (respectively) enjoy a range of programs delivered by IQ Tennis at Centenary Park Tennis Club.

They participate in a semi-private lesson each week and Ken also attends a senior group lesson with Harley enjoying the Monday night junior group session.

The Dibbles compete in regular Team Fixtures. Ken has been successful in B Special 1 and Harley has recently been promoted to Division 8 from 13 in the Junior Saturday morning comp.
